Dictation

The words,
where you need them.

A reply to a friend. A question for your host. One more thought in your notes. Say it, and keep going.

Still on for two?

Yes. The usual place?

I’ll take the table by the window.

Are you on your way?

Play the three scenes, or choose one below. Nothing is sent.

Read the spoken examples
  1. Messages “Running ten minutes late. Order me the usual.”
  2. Website form “Hello Rita. Two adults and a four-year-old. Is the cot still available?”
  3. Notes “Ask Marco if Saturday to Sunday works for them.”

One app. Both ways.

Sometimes a thought.
Sometimes just words.

Speak with Option-Space. You talk, it answers. Ask for a page, you get a page.

Dictate with Option-Shift-Space. Your words go into the text field in the app in front of you.

Dictation needs the Accessibility permission in macOS. Without it, your words are only copied, and you paste them yourself. macOS may ask you to grant it again after an update.

Both are included in the Toldit subscription.
